Recently I had the most AMAZING getaway { and yes I painted cows there} and am excited to spill the beans with you all! Picture this: rolling hills, crisp country air, and the kind of serenity that soothes the soul. Yep, that's right! I spent the night at a dreamy farmstay in the picturesque Scenic Rim, and let me tell you, it was nothing short of magical!
From the moment I arrived, I knew I was in for something special. The modern cabin nestled amidst lush greenery instantly had my heart skip a beat. It was like stepping into a haven of relaxation – cozy, inviting, yet still modern and sleek. And oh, the views! I woke up to the sight of grazing cows and golden sunrises. It was a scene straight out of a dream, I tell you!
But you know me, right? I couldn't resist tapping into my creative energy even on a brief vacation. So, armed with my trusty paintbrushes and a canvas, I ventured out to explore the farm's scenic wonders. Painting outside amidst nature's beauty was an experience like no other. The breeze, quiet, the cows of course, it was so easy to get lost in my paintings. Pure unadulterated bliss!
And let's not forget about the culinary delights! OMG the cheese and wine platter was a feast for the senses! I trekked around Brisbane finding some of the best produce around. Picture this: creamy cheeses, artisanal bread, and a glass of velvety wine {from Brindabella Winery- okay that was not from Brisbane}, all enjoyed against the backdrop of rolling hills and a stunning sunset. You get how relaxing that would be right?!
The fun didn't start when I arrived at my accommodation though. Passing through Canugra, a lovely town, there’s ample opportunity for chats. It's moments like these that remind me of the simple joys of life – laughter, connection, and the beauty of being present in the moment and stepping away from the craziness of the city.
